Michael Caines

Michael Caines is a visual artist and film/video maker based in Toronto. His paintings and drawings have been exhibited across North America in commercial and public galleries, artist-run centres and art fairs. His films and videos have screened at festivals worldwide. He is a past recipient of a Chalmer’s Fellowship and an Avery Fellowship from the Millay Colony for the Arts. In 2006 he was artist-in-residence at the Santa Fe Art Institute and at Open Studio in Toronto.
