Barry Greenwald

Barry Greenwald is an independent documentary filmmaker born and raised in Toronto. He made his first film, a 16mm short, a the age of 16. Since then he has directed twelve documentary and short films. Greenwald graduated from the film program at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario in the late 1970s. He is a founding member of the Canadian Independent Film Causus (CIFC), a Canadian documentary filmmakers’ advocacy group, and has worked extensively with the NFB.
