David New

David New is an award-winning independent director and editor of documentaries and performing arts films. His background includes musical performance with a community orchestra and a number of jazz and avant-garde ensembles. New was a founding member of Beam 103, an artist-run recording cooperative, and has worked as an actor and as a computer graphics designer.
