Derek Redmond

Derek Redmond teaches film, video and multimedia production. His area of greatest interest is cinematography – the lighting and composition of the film or video image to create the desired impact. Derek’s work outside teaching has been mainly in that area, but in recent years the increasing importance of digital technology in video has led him to focus on developing the facilities and offerings of the Film Studies Department in that area.
