Don Shebib

Don Shebib studied sociology at the University of Toronto and film at UCLA where he directed his first short film. He returned to Canada in 1963 where he made a number of documentaries for the CBC, CTV and the National Film Board. “Goin’ Down the Road,” his first feature film, was produced for $87,000. It won Canadian Film Awards for Best Featureand Best Screenplay.
