Mina Shum

Independent writer/director Mina Shum was born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada. She has written and directed six short films including “Picture Perfect,” which received the nomination for Best Drama under 30 minutes at the 1989 Yorkton Film Festival, “Shortchanged,” and”Love In.” “Me, Mom and Mona,” a documentary about the women in her family, won a Special Jury Citation for Best Canadian Short at the Toronto Festival of Festivals in 1993.
