Melissa Levin

Melissa Levin (1958-2015) was an independent video maker and visual artist. In 2000 she was the recipient of the VTape award for the best Emerging Video Artist in Toronto. Her seven short videos dealing with Lesbian identity have shown internationally in Queer and non Queer film and video festivals. In 2002 – 2003 she co-directed her first feature documentary called Class Queers that was broadcast nationally in Canada on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation program – Rough Cuts.
