Miguel Rocha

Born in Porto Portugal on November 8, 1970, Miguel moved to Toronto with his parents and brother in 1975. As well as being a painter and photographer, Miguel made several award-winning short films while at the Ontario College of Art and Design, where he graduated with honours in 1997. He has also had the unique opportunity to establish a relationship with renowned Portuguese filmmaker Manuel de Oliveria, whose films have achieved considerable recognition both in and out of Portugal.
