Sara MacLean

Born in Okinawa and raised in Montreal, Sara MacLean now lives and works in Toronto, Canada. She holds an MA from the University of Toronto in Drama & Film. Sara works her filmed images — re-printing them, exposing them to sea water, heat, fermentation, ink jet printers, the passage of time. She approaches telling aspects of nature and ourselves: a mood, a gesture, something hidden, a mystery.
