Kim Derko

A graduate of the Emily Carr College of Art & Design in Vancouver, Kim Derko studied art history, colour theory and photography before becoming a cinematographer. Kim’s work as a director includes the films: Book of Knives, An Intelligent Woman and The Scientific Girl. She has also been a resident at the Banff Centre on two projects and has collaborated with many Canadian artists: Su Rynard, Stan Douglas, Janieta Eyre, Simone Jones, John Greyson, Janet Cardiff & George Mueller to name a few. …
