James Gillespie

James Loran Gillespie is a Toronto-based filmmaker, writer and multimedia artist. His films destabilize the traditional appearance of film. Through the use of in-camera effects, hand-processing, rhythmic solarizing and tinting and toning, Gillespie creates an intense psychological atmosphere that sets the mood for cutaways in his new film, “Inflation.”
