Katharine Asals

Katharine Asals is a filmmaker and a visual artist living and working in Toronto. She graduated from Concordia University’s Inter-Related Arts program in 1990 and since then has worked as a director and an editor. “Pretending We Were Indians” screened at Ann Arbor, Race to the Screen, the Indian Summer Festival of Aboriginal Film and was broadcast on WTN . “Past History” received funding from the Ontario Arts Council and the PAFPS program of the NFB.
