ALEXIS MITCHELL BIOGRAPHY: Alexis Mitchell is an award-winning artist whose works have shown at festivals and in galleries internationally. She often works collaboratively alongside artist Sharlene Bamboat under the name Bambitchell. Mitchell is a PhD Candidate in Human Geography at the University of Toronto where she holds a SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship and was recently artist-in-residence at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, Germany.
