J. Scott Portingale is an excellent example of how self-initiative and creativity can sometimes belie the need for formal artistic training. Scott’s films portray a blend of traditional, and modern visual mediums whilst blending animation with live-action. His award winning films are at their root playful and distinguish themselves in a whimsical and explorative fashion.
