Mélanie Saumure (b. 1977) is a documentary filmmaker and a photographer from Montréal. In 2007, she received with honours a BFA with a Specialization in Film Studies from Concordia University. In 2009, she completed an MFA in Documentary Media at Ryerson University. Her first short documentary, UNDERDOG, has been screened in several major film festivals in Montréal.
