Omar Zúñiga Hidalgo

Omar was born in 1985 in Santiago, Chile. During his teenage years, Omar spent his afternoons watching films in an old theatre next to his public high school, changing his clothes every time to evade Chilean prohibition that barred students from going to the movies in uniform. As a passionate cinephile with a deep interest in film studies and research, he is a recipient of both the Chilean State Film and Art Funds.
