Protagonist of the French women and lesbian movements of the 70s and 80s, and co-founder of the Bagdam Cafée (1989) and Bagdam Espace Lesbien (2000), Jacqueline Julien is one of the principal creators of lesbian cultural and political events in Toulouse – also called “Pink City” and “Lesbopolis.” She is an artist and writer, the cinema being her latest creative passion.
