Yong is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened at high-profile festivals such as the TIFF Student Showcase, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, Camfest, and several others. His docu-fiction Leftover won 2014 Toronto Film Critics Association Award, and his latest fiction Sun is part of CBC’s Canadian Reflections programming in 2017.
