Celina de Leon

Celina de Leon is an experimental filmmaker currently residing on Unceded Coast Salish Territories known as Vancouver, BC. She graduated with a BMA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2022. Her films often center around themes of autonomy while exploring the hybridity of digital and analogue media. She is the co-founder of a recurring experimental film program called XINEMA (VIFF) and is most passionate about community engagement through art events.
